There were limits in place on some items at the supermarket after panic buying meant there was a shortage of products.

Customers were only able to buy three of the same items, but in the past week this was increased to four.

Now there will be no further limits on anything for sale in the shop apart from legal restrictions on items such as paracetamol.

In a post on its Facebook page, the supermarket said: “Thank you for continuing to shop considerately.

“As the stock on our shelves has filled up, we’ve now removed all buying restrictions in our supermarkets.”

The supermarket has also announced that full-time staff will earn a bonus of £1,050, compared to £351 last year.

The increase is being made to thank staff for their hard work during the coronavirus crisis.

The discounter first introduced four item limits across every product on March 15.

While a number of other supermarkets including Asda and Tesco have relaxed their rules on purchases.
